Gidding ISD issued the following announcement.
Giddings Middle School Junior BETA Club will be sponsoring a school-wide campaign supporting Pennies for Patients, a program that helps raise critical funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world's largest nonprofit fighting blood cancer. The drive will take place from February 18th - March 5th.
Pennies for Patients is a service learning, character education and philanthropy program where students gain the unique experience of helping thousands of children and adults in their fight against blood cancers. Students see firsthand how their involvement can make a difference in helping save the lives of blood cancer patients simply by fundraising.
