FLORESVILLE ISDF: FISD Providing Curbside Meals During School Closure

Floresville ISDF issued the following announcement.

Beginning Monday, March 23, FISD will be offering free curbside meals for children ages 18 and under. Children receiving meals must be present at the time of pickup.  All meals will be pre-packaged and meet all USDA approved nutritional components. Both breakfast and lunch will be distributed during curbside service hours. Due to federal regulations, we are unable to offer meals to adults at this time.

Monday-Friday

Times

10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Pick-up Locations:  

Floresville High School, 1813 Tiger Lane, in the bus line

Floresville North Elementary, 14905 FM 775, carline, in front of the campus

Floresville South Elementary, 2000 Tiger Lane, carline, in front of the campus

Floresville Middle School, 2601 B Street, carline, in front of the campus

Your child does not need to attend the campus where meals are being distributed.  

Families that walk to the campuses for pickup will be provided the meals for each child present. Families that drive to pick-up meals are encouraged to stay in their cars and not enter buildings during meal pickup. If your student currently has a modified meal on file, you can call the Floresville ISD Child Nutrition Department at 830-393-5300 to arrange an alternate meal for pickup.

Floresville ISD is committed to helping families in our community meet the nutritional needs of children. We will continue to provide meals while campuses are closed.
