Giddings ISD issued the following announcement on April 17.
GISD GRADING PROCESS FOR THE 2020 SPRING SEMESTER
GISD PUBLIC RELATIONS
During the regular meeting of the Giddings Board of Trustees, a district-wide grading process for the 2020 Spring Semester was adopted.
The process is similar to a pass/fail system. However, unlike a pass/fail system a numerical grade will be assigned for work performed by students through the end of the spring semester in order to calculate final grades.
The details for the grading system for each grade level can be found in this online presentation. Please take the time to review the grading system that will be in place for your student through the end of the year.
