Gidding ISD issued the following announcement on May 06.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released a document outlining requirements that must be met for various types of graduation ceremonies.
Ceremony types include virtual, hybrid, vehicle, and outdoor/in-person. A common requirement for each ceremony type is the screening of all participants and attendees.
The document is currently under review by GISD Administrative staff.
