Nixon-Smiley CISD issued the following announcement on June 6
You will be receiving a letter in the mail in the next few days explaining the P-EBT. Every student in our district receives free breakfast and lunch no matter how many people live in the home or what the family's income is.
If you already receive SNAP benefits you DO NOT need to fill out the application.
Here is the link to the quick and easy application. It does not require a student Social Security number or lunch numbers, but if you have those available it might help speed up the process of receiving benefits:
