Hallettsville Junior High issued the following announcement.
As you may recall, we adjusted the school day in the fall semester to allow more time for teachers to communicate with parents and at home learners.
However, as we move into the spring semester, we are needing to adjust the schedule to ensure that our district meets the 75,600 minutes of instruction required by the Texas Education Agency.
Therefore, our dismissal time at the end of the school day in the spring semester will be moved to 3:20 p.m. beginning on January 6, 2021 for all campuses. See Schedule Below.

After much discussion, Student WIN (What I Need) Time has been set up for the spring semester. This 20- minute block of time is an opportunity for all HJHS students to get homework done, read, complete tests, make corrections, receive tutoring, etc. We hope that this extra time in the day will help students be more successful at HJHS
