There were 302 students enrolled in Fayetteville ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 8.2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50% of them were girls, and 50% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 79.8% of the Fayetteville ISD total enrollment.

Fayetteville ISD roughly covers schools within Fayette County with its main office in Fayetteville.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
