There were 4,042 students enrolled in Floresville ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.4% of them were boys, and 47.6% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 66.9% of the Floresville ISD total enrollment.

Floresville ISD roughly covers schools within Wilson County with its main office in Floresville.

Among the five schools in Floresville ISD, Floresville High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,246 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
