WHARTON COUNTY JUNIOR COLLEGE: WCJC Online Learning Support and Tips

Wharton County Junior College issued the following announcement.

The faculty and staff at WCJC want you to know that providing you with a quality education while keeping you safe is our number one priority.  Below are some resources that will help you transition to online education. 

Blackboard:

  • You may access Blackboard via the WCJC homepage. You may also download the Blackboard app (iPhone or Android) to access your courses directly from your mobile device!

  • Log-in to Blackboard using your WCJC Student ID (including the "@" symbol) and password.  The first time you log-in, your password will be your WCJC Student ID (including the "@" symbol).  Go log-in now; we'll wait!

  • Need help logging in?  Contact the IT Helpdesk at 979-532-6568 or submit an IT Support Ticket.

  • Learn the basics of how to use Blackboard with our Blackboard Student Overview.

  • Scroll through our many Student Resources so that you're ready to get started on March 30!

  • Review these Tips for Successful Online Learning.
Student Support Services:

  • For students with limited or no computer or internet access, Open Computer Labs will be available.

  • You can still access all WCJC Library Resources online!

  • Remember, we're here to help!  Contact an academic advisor or counselor either through Online Advising or send us an e-mail.
  • If you have questions regarding disability services, please send an e-mail to disabilityservice@wcjc.edu. 
Check your WCJC Student Email often!  We will keep you informed of all changes as they're made.
